The shape of this cross will be recognizable to anyone who knows East Van, the part of Vancouver, BC, that this church calls home. The objective was to reference this iconic public artwork — and the harder-edged neighbourhood it presides over — without slipping into cliché. The additional wordmark provided more versatility to the system.
